Sharonda Hunter grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. After high school, she attended the University of Tampa where she earned her B.S. in Criminology. She received her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. Prior to law school she worked as a case manager for two years in Tampa, FL. While in law school, she participated in Chase’s Children’s Law Center Clinic where she practiced family law as a Certified Legal Intern. After graduating and passing the Ohio Bar, Sharonda continued to work at the Children’s Law Center helping to remove barriers to education, employment, and housing for youth and young adults involved in the juvenile justice system.
When she is not working, Sharonda enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.
